Redmond Boys Basketball Fall Training Program

Please check this page often for Open Gym times.  On 9/13 a sprinkler burst flooding the main gym and causing significant damage to the floor, causing it to need to be replaced.  We may have to shift days or times week to week to accommodate Fall Sports Teams.   Thank you for your patience.

Fall Training Program Details

The Redmond Boys Basketball Booster Club is pleased to host the Redmond Boys Basketball Fall Training Program.  This program will consist of weight training, basketball workouts, as well in-pool conditioning. 

Open Gyms

All Redmond High School boys who are serious about improving their basketball skills are welcome to attend Open Gyms to train with great basketball coaches.  Days and times are subject to change due to gym availability while the main gym floor is under repair due to recent water damage.  We will try our best to keep this page up to date.  

  • Pre-season period:  September 12 - November 2
  • 9/20 Tuesday and 9/22 Thursday 7:00-8:00pm in the side gym 
  • Participants:  Open to Redmond HS boys 9-12 grade only
  • Please wear basketball shoes.  Bring your basketball if you have one.
  • Registration is not required.  

Weight Training + Pool Conditioning + Basketball Training  (RegistERED PARTICIPANTS Only)

We have reached maximum participation capacity.  The registration is closed.  

Pro Sports Club trainer Dirk Huebner will lead weight training at the RHS weightroom and pool conditioning at the Redmond City Pool.   Each training session is specifically designed to improve your sons’ skills with an emphasis on improving strength, stamina, and speed. 

  • September 12 - November 2
  • Tuesday, Thursday and Friday:  See Green and Gold schedule below
  • Wednesday:  Pool Conditioning 1:00-2:15pm

In order to provide more space to training, and due to limited gym space while the main gym floor is under repair, our coaches have broken the registered participants into two groups.  Participants have been notified of which group they are in.

Frequently Asked Questions


When are basketball tryouts?  Tryouts will be in November.  More information will be posted as we get closer.  

Will there be other basketball activities before tryouts?   There may be additional pre-season activities scheduled.   Invites for those activities will be sent out separately.  Please check our website often for information.
