Redmond (AP) - With 2 weeks of training camp behind them, the highly touted Mustang C team took to the court for their home opener against Gig Harbor Tuesday night and they did not disappoint the large crowd that had gathered to see the unveiling of the Redmond's next great team. Redmond coasted to a 61-47 win against an overmatched Tides team that had been a state qualifier (like the Mustangs) the previous spring. A well-balanced, attacking offense combined with a ferocious defense kept the Tides at "bay" and Arian Ghazanfari led the way with 20 points as he continues to establish himself the program's best Persian player.
